My Monday Must Have this week is Toms!!! I cannot say enough about these shoes. The company mission is great. I love they they give children a pair of shoes. Also, these are the most comfortable shoes I own. They look good with skinny jeans, leggings, and shorts. I also like the variety of colors and styles. Let me know your favorite Toms or go to shoes.

Empties
I have a few products I have used up recently to share with you all. First, Suave Professionals shampoo and conditioner is my go to. I would rank the Suave Professionals line with salon brands. Bobbi Brown BB Cream I have already repurchased, it is one of my must have products. I recently reviewed it in a Monday Must Have. The Nars finishing powder is a good product, but I am not sure I would purchase again. I would like to see if I can find a comparable product for a cheaper price. Next, Cover Girl Lash Blast mascara is a favorite. I have purchased many tubes and will continue to purchase them. Another great product is the Living Proof Style Extender. I got a sample from Sephora it is amazing. It made my flat iron style last for days. Finally, my last empty is The Body Shop's hand cream. This is my must have I reviewed it lately in Monday Must Haves. Let me know what you have used up!!!

Essential Earrings
Earrings have been my favorite accessory since I was 4 years old. I remember being so excited when my mom took me to get my ears pierced, those czs were the most beautiful earrings I had ever seen. It's been a few years since my first pair, but I still never leave the house without my earrings. I have listed my "essentials" for a perfect earring collection. First, every girl needs a pair of diamonds whether real or good fakes. My diamonds are good fakes but maybe one day!! Next, a pair of pearls. I am from the south so I believe pearls go with everything. I am known to wear them to baseball games on a regular basis. Hoops are another must have in both silver and gold. You can get hoops in all sizes at a reasonable price. Another essential is a pair of silver and gold statement earrings. These look great when you wear your hair up. Finally, everyone needs a pair of fun earrings. They can add a pop of color to a more plain outfit or just add some fun to your wardrobe. Let me know your essential earrings!!

What to Eat Wednesday - Black and Bleu Wedge Salad
This week's What to Eat Wednesday is a Black and Bleu Wedge Salad. This is a great simple dinner salad. I love the contrast of the bleu cheese with the savory steak.
Ingredients
Steak (I used a T-Bone because it is all I had, a strip steak would be nice also)
Iceberg Lettuce
Some other mixed greens (I used romaine and spinach)
Blue Cheese
Bacon
Tomatoes
Almonds
Dried Raspberries
Blue Cheese Dressing
First, wash all your veggies. This is really difficult step I know.
Grill or pan sear you steak. We are out of gas for our grill so I pan seared my steak on the stove then finished in the oven.
Next, let your steak rest while you are preparing the salad. Put the loose green lettuce on your plate then cut the iceberg into wedges and place on top of the loose greens. Top the lettuce with the tomatoes, blue cheese, bacon, almonds, and raspberries. You could always add or take away ingredients. After your salads are assembled cut you steak in strips and add to the salad. You are finished a very easy and good meal. Let me know if you try it.

August Favorites
My favorites for the month of August are some new and old favorites. First, Bobbi Brown BB Cream has been a favorite of mine for the last year. I have bought many tubes and will continue to buy tubes of it. It is the best BB Cream I have found yet. Another one of my favorites is the Express flare blue jeans. I have not had a new pair of flare style jeans in awhile. My husband bought me a new pair for my birthday and I am in love. They are so comfortable and look great with a pair of heels. Maybelline Age Rewind is another old favorite. I have loved this concealer since it came out and will continue to buy it. A new favorite of mine this month is Trader Joe's. Trader Joe's is new to my area, and I am so excited we finally got one. It is amazing and has wonderful prices. Next, a favorite of mine this month is baseball. The fall ball season has started and I love spending the weekends at the ball field watching my favorite little player. My last favorite is The Body Shop's hand cream. It is amazing. I keep one of the tubes in my desk at work and on my nightstand. Let me know what your favorites are this month.

What to Eat Wednesday - Enchiladas
This week for What to Eat Wednesday I am making "white girl" enchiladas. I adapted the recipe from one I found on Pinterest. I hesitated calling these "white girl" enchiladas then I realized after making them my Hispanic mother-in-law would definitely say these were not "real" enchiladas. However, they tasted very good and were easy to make.
Ingredients
1/4c Milk
8oz Cream Cheese
1/4-1/2c Mayo
1c Salsa
Bag of Mexican Blend Cheese
2 Cans Shredded Chicken
1 Can Green Chilies
1tbl of Chili Powder
Tortillas
Jalapenos
Sour Cream
Next, put some of the chicken mixture in a tortilla roll it up and place in the dish. Keep doing this until the dish is full. Top with the rest of the cheese mixture, the rest of the shredded cheese, and some jalapeno.
Ingredients
1/4c Milk
8oz Cream Cheese
1/4-1/2c Mayo
1c Salsa
Bag of Mexican Blend Cheese
2 Cans Shredded Chicken
1 Can Green Chilies
1tbl of Chili Powder
Tortillas
Jalapenos
Sour Cream
Preheat the oven to 350. Mix the milk, cream cheese, mayo, salsa, a handful of the shredded cheese, and 3/4 of the can of green chilies in a pot and melt all ingredients together. While those ingredients are melting mix the shredded chicken, a handful of the cheese, the chili powder, and the rest of the green chilies in a bowl. When the cheese mixture in melted, add a ladle full to the chicken mixture also.
When you have everything mixed together add a ladle full of the cheese mixture to the bottom of a greased baking dish.Next, put some of the chicken mixture in a tortilla roll it up and place in the dish. Keep doing this until the dish is full. Top with the rest of the cheese mixture, the rest of the shredded cheese, and some jalapeno.
Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until everything is melted together.
You are finished. Serve with sour cream. Let me know if you try it!!

Birthday, Game Day, and Labor Day
My birthday always falls on or around Labor Day weekend so my husband usually plans a trip for us. This year we went to Atlanta for the weekend. We shopped and went to Turner Field to watch the Braves. We had such a great time even with the extreme heat!!! There is something I find relaxing about eating a ballpark hotdog and enjoying a game. I don't guess turning thirty-something is all that bad!! I hope all of y'all had a great holiday weekend!!!

Monday Must Have
My Monday Must Have this week is Bobbi Brown's BB Cream. This has the texture of a tinted moisturizer with a little more coverage. It has 35spf so you will not need a separate sunscreen. I have tried many bb creams and none of them compare to this one. I wear it alone and as a primer under foundation. I apply it with my fingers. This is my go to on weekends spent at the ball field or around the house. The only con is the price, but it does last a long time. Let me know your go to bb cream or if you try this one.
