Fall Fashion Essentials
Fall is once again upon us......I like fall for many reasons from the start of football season to the crispness in the air, but I love fall fashion. I love the first day I get to wear my tall boots. I love the feeling of a warm scarf and cardigan by a fire on a fall night. I am going to tell all of you my fall essentials and would love to here all of yours.
My fall fashion bottom essentials are leggings, dark skinny jeans, and a pair of distressed jeans. Leggings are a fashion staple you can wear them casual or dress them up. You can wear them with boots, Uggs, or flats. Just please do not wear them as pants!! My next bottom essential is jeans. My favorites are dark skinnies and distressed. I enjoy wearing distressed jeans on casual days and my dark skinnies are great for nights out.
My fall fashion shoe essentials are riding boots and Uggs. Whether you love or hate Uggs, they are the most comfortable shoes on the planet. I suggest everyone have a pair even you wear them around the house. The riding boots are great with skinny jeans, leggings, and sweater dresses.
My fall fashion top essential is tunics. I love all tunics from denim to pikos. They look great with leggings and skinny jeans. They can be dressed up with a scarf or statement necklace. They are easy and comfortable, but look like you tried to put an outfit together.
Another fall fashion essential is cardigans. I love them in every color and style. They can be wore year round, but they are perfect in the transition between summer and winter. I love a bright colored cardigan with an all black outfit or a leopard cardigan to make a statement.
Scarves are good year round also, but they are a must in the fall. There is nothing cuter than a big chunky scarf with some skinny jeans and boots. They are the only accessory you will need.
Last fall fashion essential I have is earrings. I never leave the house without my earrings. I love them in the fall because they are perfect with a big scarf and big sunglasses. They are a must have this season.
I hope you all enjoyed my fall fashion essentials, let me know what your must haves are in the comments below.

What to Eat Wednesday - Tacos
This weeks What to Eat Wednesday is Tacos. We have tacos as often as once a week in my house. They are an easy go to meal that everyone enjoys. We always have enough leftovers to make a taco pizza a couple of nights later, which I love getting two meals in one. I hope you enjoy my twist on tacos. Let me know if you try them.
Ingredients
One pack Trader Joes taco seasoning
Taco Shells
Hamburger Meat
Black Beans
Cheese
Extras
Jalapenos
Cilantro
Fresh Salsa (recipe soon)
Jalapeno Dip (recipe soon)
Sour Cream
Lime
Texas Pete
Heat your oven to 450. Then, brown your hamburger meat over medium heat. While the meat is cooking I wash and drain my black beans. When the meat is brown drain off all the grease. A quick tip to drain hamburger is to save your paper bags and use for liners to absorb the grease. Put your hamburger and black beans in the pan with the taco seasoning.
Add about half a cup of water. Let the seasoning, meat, and black beans simmer with the water until it thickens a little. Next, take your taco shells and add the mixture in each one of them. Put however much cheese you want on top of each shell and put them in the oven until the cheese melts (about five minutes).

National Dog Day
Today is National Dog Day...................I have been a dog lover since my first puppy named Daisy that I had as a child. We always had dogs in my house inside and outside. My current and favorite dog is Stewie. He is an eleven year old Yorkie. We have had him since he was six weeks old. Stewie was the first gift my husband ever bought me. He has been with me through moving home from college leaving my now husband behind, through the death of a good friend, through the birth of my favorite little boy, through the day I got engaged, through my wedding, through buying our first home, and you all get the picture. He has been in my life through every major milestone. He is a big dog in a little body and he loves his cheese. He is getting older and cannot run like he used to, but he will always have my heart. So on this day to honor dogs I honor our Stewie.

Monday Must Haves
My Monday Must Have this week is Maybelline Instant Age Rewind. This is my favorite concealer/eye brightener at the current time. It is very wallet friendly and works as well as high end brands. It instantly highlights the dark parts under the eye without settling into fine lines. I recommend if you have not tried this concealer go to your favorite drug store and get one today. It ranges in price from $6.00-$9.00, but you can always find coupons to get an even better deal.

Scripture Sunday
I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me...... Philippians 4:13
This is one of my favorite bible verses. I go to this verse a lot when I am feeling overwhelmed or scared. This verse is appropriate today because of the new journey I am taking with the blog. I have pondered for many months whether or not to start a blog. This week I decided to take the plug.

Cross Country Adventure
This summer my husband and I drove across country from East Tennessee to Southwest Colorado. The west is one of my favorite places on earth. The landscapes there are so different than the South. I love my home, but I feel part of my heart is in Sante Fe, New Mexico. There is also something about feeling a little closer to God when you watch the sunset on top of Rocky Mountain National Park's Trail Ridge Road. I am already planning our next adventure.
