Top Products of 2014

I am finally posting my top products of 2014. I have been under the weather lately and have been slacking on the blog. I hope I am back in the game. I want to thank all of my friends for all of the prayers. Now to get to the post. I tried a lot of new products this year and fell more in love with some old favorites. I will list my top favorites in no particular order.

 

1. The Body Shops Hemp Hand Protector. I got my first tube of this last year for Christmas fell in love with it instantly. There is not a strong smell and it is very moisturizing . I keep a tube of this in my desk drawer and in my nightstand.

2.  Its a Ten Miracle Leave in Product. This has been a favorite for years. I use this every time I wash my hair. It helps with frizz, moisture, and split ends. It also smells very good.

 3.  Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation. This has been my favorite foundation for the past couple of years. It gives good coverage with the look and feel of skin. It gives you a glow to your skin. There is a large color selection. I often have a hard time matching my skin because I am so fair.

 4. Bobbi Brown BB Cream. This is my favorite of all time BB Creams. I have not tried many high end bb creams but I have tried a lot of drug store brands. This bb cream has light coverage with SPF of 35. I wear this alone on days I am not wearing a full face of makeup. I also enjoy wearing this when I am going to be outdoors.

5. Nerium AD Night Cream. I began using this cream last February. I have been using it every night since then. This cream has not only helped with fine lines it has completely took away by eczema. It also helps with the texture and overall glow of my skin.

6. Nars Orgasm Blush. I bought this blush at the beginning of the year. I know I am really late to get this product. I love it. It gives your skin a nice glow. There is some shimmer, but I like shimmer. I like anything that brightens up my dry skin.

Beauty Haul

Thought I would share the products I ordred during the Sephora VIB sale. This is the first time I have been a VIB and was excited to get 20% off. 

1. I stocked up on my regular foundations. I use both Bobbi Brown Skin and Estée Lauder Double Wear. These have been my go to for years. 

2. Elizabeth and James Nirvava rollerballs were my  next purchase. I have been wanting to try the fragrance for awhile. 

3. I wanted to try the Glam Glow mask to see if it is worth all the hype. I will let yall know. 

4. I needed a new powder to set my makeup. I heard great reviews on the Laura Mercier so I am going to try it out. 

5. My last purchase was a Buxom lip gloss set. I can never say no to a good lip gloss.

Monday Must Have - Nirvana

My Monday Must Have this week is Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black and White. I ordered this fragrance during the Sephora's VIB sale. I ordered the small rollerballs to test out the fragrance and I'm in love. I have added both scents to my Christmas list. I am going to use the Sephora's description of the scent notes because I'm not good at describing fragrances. The Nirvana Black has notes of violet, sandlewood, and rich vanilla. It is sensual, warm, and mysterious. The Nirvana White has notes of peony, muguet, and tender musk. It is sophisticated, feminine, and captivating.

Hair Must Have

My must have this week is for hair. It is the It's a Ten conditioning product. I have been using it for years. My hair is thick, naturally curly, and course. I put this product on my wet hair and comb through. It helps with tangles, frizzness, and the overall health of my hair. If you have not tried it I would ASAP!!

October Favorites

I cannot believe it is already November! October was a good month of good fashion and beautiful weather. I thought I would share a few items I have been loving this month. Let me know what your favorites were for October. 

1.  J Crew GiGi Pants....if I could live in these pants I would. They are so comfortable and easy to style. I got mine at the factory store and they are always having sales. 

2. Brown Riding Boots....the picture is not my exact boots but very similar. I have been wearing mine almost every day. They look good with everything!

3. Beauty Blender....I have been using my beauty blender everyday. I did a full review in a Monday Musthave if you would like to check out more details.

4. Younique Mascara....I'm in love with this mascara. I can tell a huge difference in my lashes when I use it. I have a rapid review if you want to check it out!!

5. Bobbi Brown Bronzer and Brush....I love the Bobbi Brown bronzer. I use the light color and it is not to much for my pale skin. The brush is also a favorite. It is so soft and applies the perfect amount of color.

6. Boot Socks....I love the small details boot socks add to an outfit. I suggest a pair in every color!!
